There's so much New California and Mediterranean cuisine have in common. The incredible scenic coastlines, the easy laid back lifestyle, but mostly it's our access to an abundance of fresh produce, dairy products and grass - fed, organic, sustainable ingredients.
As I was thinking about what recipe to offer today; I realized, hmmm...so many Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Asian dishes are overflowing with vegetables. Either as a a main courses or side dish. It's all about the veggies. I have so many recipes I could share with you, but today, I wanted to make it solely about a plant-based food that everyone simply loves.
Hummus. Right? It's loaded with protein, it's healthy, it's yummy, filling, and best of all sooo bloody easy to make. Top it with our Israeli Salad, also known as Shirazi Salad, and you've got yourself a meal.
